Wisdom for Wednesdays

"...and then I will sing, I will always sing, even if I must gather my roses in the very midst of thorns--and the longer and sharper the thorns the sweeter shall be my song."

-Story of a Soul, St. Therese of Lisieux

  1. I actually stumbled onto your blog from a comment you left on another Quick-takes post and I just kept reading. I figured I would try to combine some comments instead of posting on every single one of your posts :) So first of all, I'm sorry to hear about your horrible week :( I know that nothing a stranger says will make you feel better, but I wanted to let you know that you'll be in my prayers.

Also, I adore St. Therese, and this quote is beautiful. I just finished reading "I Believe in Love" and fell even more in love with her little way. What a woman.

Well, it's nice to "meet" you. I pray that God will envelope you in His love and pour out His peace on you this week.

  2. Aw, Jordan. You're not a stranger anymore--you're a friend. :) Really appreciated your comments, thank you. And isn't that the beauty of the Body of Christ-- that we can be united and praying for each other even when we haven't met in person? THANK YOU. I enjoyed meeting you, too, and checking out your blog as well!
