Hello Laura. So good to know you through your profile on the blogger. I am also glad to stop by your blog and the post on it. I am glad to know about your being Registered Nurse. I am in the Pastoral ministry for last 35yrs in the great city of Mumbai, India a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the post of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also encourage young people as well as adults from the West to come to Mumbai on a short term missions trip to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have you come with your friends to work with us during your vacation time. Since most of the slums have no proper sanitation, the diseases rate is high. We do organize medical camps to treat the diseases of the people in the slums. It would be a great time for you in bringing healing spiritual as well as physical healing to the people in the slums who are poorest of poor.
